Proverbs 3:1-3 NLT
My child,[a] never forget the things I have taught you.
Store my commands in your heart.
If you do this, you will 2 live many years,
and your life will be satisfying.
3 Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!
Tie them around your neck as a reminder.
Write them deep within your heart.
Loyalty is a virtue truly rooted in God, which makes one do what is right even in uncertain seasons.
Loyalty seeks to honor God, it values godly relationships and God rewards our faithfulness.
Loyalty is not self-seeking; void of selfish motives. Being loyal is imitating our Father for God is loyal.
Loyalty is to be faithful, to stick to a commitment.
But unfortunately, loyalty seems to be losing its appeal today.
When choosing leaders it’s vital to observe loyalty.
Talent is only valuable when loyalty is in place.
A loyal leader will be there in difficult season and will be there in the good season.
Look for the loyalty gem.
These people make ministry a joy.
Loyal leaders release the favor of God in a congregation.
We depend on God because He is loyal.
We can trust His word because He is loyal.
It’s the same yesterday today and forever.
Loyal people attract God’s favor, for loyalty is his nature.
Loyalty attracts God’s Favor
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
Loyalty to God is demonstrated in our loyalty to our Christian family.
